SAVE BUGOMA FOREST A HOME TO CHIMPANZEES

Conservationists rescue chimpanzee, a team of environmentalists and veterinary doctors spent more than 10 hours on Monday rescuing a chimpanzee that had been trapped by a snare in kyabigambire Sub County in Hoima district. The chimpanzee had strayed into gardens to search for food from where it was hit by a snare. The bleeding animal moved through tree branches crying in a forest around Binyogoro Swamp. Mr. Paul Hatanga, the conservation project manager from chimpanzee sanctuary and wildlife conservation trust said the animals are struggling to survive since most of their habitats are being destroyed by mainly farmers.
